Interior Design — A Guy’s Budget Bedroom Makeover In A Small Rental Apartment

Designer Natalie Chong shares how she created a beautiful and cozy bedroom for her brother-in-law with a budget of $ 2,000. See how the small rented space comes alive with paint, sturdy furniture and layers of texture. Also, get your tips to paint a wall of affirmations!

The original space was empty, with crooked blinds and zero personality. Natalie began by bringing pieces that would maximize storage, including a bed frame with drawers. To heat the space, she changed the blinds for curtains and brought texture through the duvet cover and pillows. The wall behind the bed was painted a dark green to complement the checkered sheets. Natalie used floating side tables to keep the space open.
