Discover how designer Natalie Chong furnishes the home of a young couple with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for $ 10,000. Get condo decorating ideas from your budget to add style and personality to a space, while creating an aesthetic design neutral to the genre.
Natalie kept the function and finances in the foreground throughout the design process. She painted the lower half of the wall at the long entrance in a durable navy blue shade as a less expensive (and non-permanent) alternative to the siding. In the living room, a carpet acts as a separator between the kitchen and the dining room. Despite the small space, Natalie was able to accommodate a dining table for six and a folding desk in the corner. A black wall in the hotel-like master bedroom offers drama, while the mini sideboards serve as bedside tables with ample storage space. The guest room will be a nursery one day, so Natalie kept the design simple and used affordable parts that can be easily replaced.
